After a strong start, the Nuggets cooled off in the second half of November as they lost four times in a five-game spell.
They were beaten 115-110 in New Orleans and 121-109 at Cleveland, before briefly bouncing back with a 107-103 victory in Detroit.
Denver then lost 124-119 in Orlando and 105-86 at Houston, but they appear to have got themselves back on track since last weekend.
The Nuggets beat San Antonio 132-10 at home and the LA Clippers 113-104 on the road, before finally getting the better of Houston, 134-124, on Wednesday night.

Phoenix enter this matchup on the back of a loss that snapped a seven-game win streak to leave them 11-6.
The Suns struggled through the first 10 games, winning just four times, but they roared into life during the second half of November.
They bounced back from a 111-99 defeat to Oklahoma City by beating Minnesota 133-115, and they then went out on the road to win back-to-back games in Utah, 131-128 and 140-137 in double OT.
Phoenix returned home after that and kept their win streak going with a 120-107 win against Portland and a 123-115 victory over Golden State.
They Suns then took their streak to seven games on the road, winning 110-89 in Memphis and 116-113 at New York, before it finally ended with a 112-105 defeat in Toronto.
Verdict
Phoenix have been in great form despite the loss last time out, and Denver have not been a reliable spread bet on the road.
