Los Angeles arrive on the back of a defeat that ended their seven-game win streak and dropped them to 15-5.
The Lakers lost twice in the space of three games in the first half of November, but responded with a season-best run of form.
They began their win streak on the road as they downed New Orleans 118-104 and Milwaukee 119-95, and they then took back-to-back meetings with Utah, winning 140-126 at home and 108-106 on the road.
Los Angeles took their win streak to seven games when they returned home, beating the LA Clippers 135-118, Dallas 129-119 and New Orleans 133-121.
However, the Lakers failed to make it eight-in-a-row in their first game of this month, losing 125-108 at home to Phoenix.

Toronto enter this matchup having rebounded from a couple of road defeats to improve to 15-7 with their 14th win on their last 17 games.
The Raptors lost four straight early in the season, but rallied with a four-game win streak of their own, and then issued an emphatic response to the 130-120 loss in Philadelphia.
They rebounded on the road to beat Brooklyn 119-109, Cleveland 126-113 and Indiana 129-111, and they beat Charlotte 110-108 before heading back out on the road to down Philadelphia 121-112.
Toronto then made it nine wins in a row as they headed back home to beat Washington 140-110, Brooklyn 119-109, Cleveland 110-99 and Indiana 97-95.
The Raptors’ run was finally ended on the road as they fell 118-111 in overtime to Charlotte and 116-94 at New York, but they rallied last time out to beat Portland 121-118 at home.
Verdict
Toronto have been one of the NBA’s most in-form team over the past several weeks and have been on a tear on the home court.
That makes the Raptors an appealing pick against a Lakers team that is without its main offensive weapon in Doncic.
