The Pelicans sparked a seven-game win streak when they beat Oklahoma 105-101 in late November.
They backed that up with a 126-108 victory against Toronto before heading to San Antonio to beat the Spurs 117-99.
New Orleans returned home after that and beat Denver 121-106 and Detroit 104-98 before beating Phoenix in back-to-back games, 128-117 and 129-124 (OT).
The Pelicans’ streak was halted on Tuesday night though, as they were blown out 121-100 at Utah.

Utah will look to build on Tuesday night’s win against New Orleans after a rough run since late November.
The Jazz have gone 4-8 in their last 12 games – a run that included a five game losing skid.

Utah then lost 116-111 to Portland, only to bounce back with a 124-123 upset of Golden State at home.
