The Thunder produced an historic display on Wednesday, and while they are unlikely to reach those heights again, they do have a strong recent record in Denver.

Oklahoma City head out on the road for the first time in this series having knotted it up at one win apiece with a history-making victory on Wednesday.
The Thunder came into this home court advantage, but threatened to blow that in the very first game as they were beaten 121-119 by Denver.
They responded in emphatic fashion in Game 2 though, scoring a playoff record-setting 87 points in the first half on their way to a 149-106 victory.
Oklahoma City put together a league-best a 68-14 record to finish top of the Western Conference and book their place in the postseason.
The Thunder then continued that dominance in the first round of the playoffs as they beat Memphis 131-80 and 118-99 at home, and 114-108 and 117-115 on the road.
Denver Nuggets Form
Denver return home on the back of a heavy defeat, but having won once in Oklahoma to give themselves a slight edge.
The Nuggets enjoyed the perfect start to the series as they took down the Thunder, 121-119 in Game 1, only to then suffer a 149-106 blowout loss on Wednesday night.
They claimed their place in the playoffs with a 50-32 record, and made a winning start to the postseason as they beat the LA Clippers 112-110 in overtime.
Denver lost the next two, falling 105-102 at home and 117-83 on the road, before rallying with a 101-99 win on the road and a 131-115 victory at home.
The Nuggets passed up on the chance to clinch on the road as they lost 111-105 in LA, but they took their second opportunity at home, winning 120-101 in Game 7.
Verdict
Oklahoma City’s response to that Game 1 loss was a spectacular one.
And while we are not expecting a repeat of that Game 2 blowout, we do like the Thunder’s chances of claiming the series lead for the first time.
