The Magic picked up a couple of wins in late 2023, downing Indiana 117-110 and Washington 127-119 on the road, before returning home to beat New York 117-108.
They made a losing end to the year though, falling to a 112-107 defeat when they visited Phoenix, and they then lost 121-115 when they visited Golden State.
Orlando stopped the rot with a 122-120 upset of Denver to get off the mark this year, and backed that up with a 117-110 overtime win at home to Atlanta.
The Magic failed to make it three wins in a row though, losing 113-92 when they hosted Minnesota on Tuesday night.

Miami come into this game in underwhelming form, having lost four of their last six to fall to 21-16.
The Heat enjoyed a four-game losing skid at the end of December, starting with a 115-106 victory in Orlando.
