They beat Virginia 35-31 in their ACC opener, and backed it up on the road a week later as they downed Wake Forest 34-24.
NC State’s perfect start was finally ended by a 45-33 defeat at Duke, and they then failed to rebound at home as they fell 23-21 to Virginia Tech.
The Wolfpack did stop the rot last weekend though, as they blew out Campbell at home, 56-10.

Notre Dame head into this matchup having kick-started their season with three consecutive victories.
The Fighting Irish opened up on the road, and were beaten 27-24 by Miami despite being considered favorites for the game.
They then failed to bounce back from that in their home opener as they lost 41-40 to Texas A&M, but they have not lost since then.
Notre Dame finally got off the mark with a 56-30 win over Purdue, and backed that up on the road as they downed Arkansas 56-13.
The Fighting Irish then made it three wins in a row last weekend, as they beat Boise State at home, 28-7.
