Philadelphia head out on the road on a short week to face a division rival, having suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend.
The defending Super Bowl champion Eagles kicked off the campaign with a 24-20 win at home to Dallas, and were able to back that up over the next three weeks.
They downed the Chiefs 20-17 in Kansas City in a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl, before fending off the Los Angeles Rams in a 33-26 victory at home.
Philadelphia made it four-in-a-row with a 31-25 success at Tampa Bay, only to see their perfect start finally come to an end last Sunday.
It came in surprising fashion too, as the Eagles were beaten 21-17 at home by Denver.
New York Giants Form
New York enter this matchup having failed to build on their first win of the season, falling to 1-4 last weekend.
The Giants opened the 2025 regular season with back-to-back games against division rivals, and came up empty-handed in both of them.
They lost 21-6 at Washington, and then put up 37 points at Dallas, only to lose 40-37 in overtime to the Cowboys.
New York dropped their home opener after that, 22-9 to Kansas, before finally getting off the mark in Week 4 with a 21-18 upset of the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Giants quickly returned to losing ways however, as they were beaten 26-14 by the Saints in New Orleans last weekend.
Verdict
Philadelphia have not been too convincing so far and they enter this game on the back of a loss.
However, they have dominated the Giants in recent years and Barkley will want to put on a show against his old team, so we are backing the Eagles to win this by at least a touchdown.
