They beat San Jose State 38-7 and UTEP 27-10, before shutting out Sam Houston in a 55-0 victory at home.
Texas failed to keep that run going in their SEC opener, losing 29-21 at Florida, but they have bounced back with four consecutive wins to stay in the postseason hunt.
The Longhorns upset Oklahoma, 23-6, and backed that up by beating Kentucky 16-13, Mississippi State 45-38 and Vanderbilt 34-31.

Georgia enter this matchup riding a five-game win streak that has them hot on the heels of Texas A&M and Alabama in the SEC.
The Bulldogs kicked off the season with back-to-back non-conference wins, beating Marshall 45-7 and Austin Peay 28-6, and they made it three-in-a-row by beating Tennessee 44-41 in their SEC opener.
They suffered a setback two weeks later as they fell 24-21 at home to Alabama, but they have not lost since.
Georgia got back on track with a 35-14 win over Kentucky, and then backed up a 20-10 victory at Auburn with a 43-35 success against top-five Ole Miss.
The Bulldogs made it four-in-a-row with a 24-20 victory over Florida, and took their win streak to five games last weekend as they went out on the road to down Mississippi State, 41-21.
