They backed that up with a 45-31 win over Michigan State, only to then suffer their first defeat of the season as they fell 34-32 at Illinois.
USC rebounded to beat Michigan 31-13 at home, before heading to South Bend for a non-conference loss to Notre Dame, 34-24.
The Trojans have not lost since though, following up a 21-17 victory at Nebraska with home wins against Northwestern, 38-17, and Iowa, 26-21.

Oregon enter this matchup having rebounded from the loss to Indiana with five straight wins to stay on course for the playoffs.
The Ducks won a couple of non-conference games to start the season, blowing out Montana State 59-13 and Oklahoma State 69-3.
