The Commodores opened the season with a five-game win streak that included a 31-7 upset of South Carolina on the road in their SEC opener.
Their run was ended by a 30-14 defeat in Alabama, but they rebounded to win their next two games, beating LSU 31-24 and Missouri 17-10.
Vanderbilt failed to make it three-in-a-row as they were beaten 34-31 at Texas, only to rebound with a thrilling 45-38 win over Auburn.
The Commodores then backed that up last weekend as they eased to a 45-17 victory against Kentucky.

Tennessee enter this matchup having won back-to-back games to secure their Bowl eligibility.
The Volunteers kicked off the campaign with a couple of non-conference wins, but failed to make it three-in-a-row in their SEC opener as they fell 44-41 to Georgia.
They bounced back with a 56-24 non-conference win over UAB, and followed that up as they won back-to-back SEC matchups, beating Mississippi State 41-34 and Arkansas 34-31.
Tennessee then rebounded from a 37-20 defeat at Alabama with a 56-34 success in Kentucky, only to then lose 33-27 when they hosted Oklahoma.
The Volunteers have won consecutive games since then though, backing up a 42-9 blowout of New Mexico State with a 31-11 victory at Florida.
Verdict
Vanderbilt have taken their programme to the next level, but the playoffs may be a step too far in 2025.
The Commodores have lost their last two road games against ranked teams, and that could become three-a-row against a Tennessee team that have had their number in recent years.
