The Bears made a miserable start to the season as they lost back-to-back games against division rivals, 27-24 to Minnesota and 52-21 at Detroit, but they have rebounded in style.
They got off the mark with a 31-14 win over Dallas, and then edged road games against Washington and Las Vegas, 25-24, before downing New Orleans at home, 26-14.
Chicago’s run was ended by a 30-16 loss at Baltimore, but they responded with a string of last-gasp wins as they beat Cincinnati 47-42, the New York Giants 24-20 and Minnesota 19-17.
The Bears then beat Pittsburgh at home 31-28, before recording their signature win of the season so far as they dominated the Eagles in Philadelphia, winning 24-15.
Green Bay Packers Form
Green Bay enter this matchup on a three-game winning run thanks to the big Thanksgiving Day win in Detroit.
The Packers kicked off the campaign with back-to-back wins, beating Detroit 27-13 and Washington 27-18, before cooling off with a 13-10 loss at Cleveland and a 40-40 tie at Dallas.
They got back to winning ways as they beat Cincinnati at home, 27-18, and they followed that up on the road as they beat Arizona 27-23 and Pittsburgh 35-25.
Green Bay failed to keep that run going at home as they lost 16-13 to Carolina and 10-7 to Philadelphia, but they have not lost since.
The Packers won 27-20 at the New York Giants to get back on track, and backed that up by beating division rivals Minnesota, 23-6, and Detroit, 31-25.
Verdict
This is another big test for a Chicago team that appears to be well ahead of schedule.
