The Lions made it to the NFC Championship Game in 2023 and had high expectations going into last season, but they came up short in their Super Bowl dream.
They lost at home to Washington in the Division round, and following that defeat they lost both their offensive and defensive co-ordinators.
That left some big questions surrounding Detroit heading into this season, and they only got louder when they were beaten 27-13 in Green Bay on opening weekend.
However, those questions have quietened a little after last week, thanks to the Lions’ 52-21 demolition of Chicago in their home opener.
Baltimore Ravens Form
Baltimore also enter this matchup having rebounded from an opening-day defeat with a victory at home.
The Ravens also came into the 2025 campaign with their sights set on Super Bowl glory, but they suffered a shocking early setback on opening weekend.
They appeared to be cruising to victory in Buffalo when they led 40-25 midway through the fourth quarter.
However, Baltimore then gave up 16 unanswered points, including a walk-off 32-yard field goal, to crash to a 41-40 defeat at the hands of the Bills.
The Ravens issued an immediate response though, as they got off the mark with a 41-17 blowout of division rivals Cleveland.

Both teams have had disappointments and both teams have responded with blowout wins.
