They halted their slide with a 16-10 win at home to Pittsburgh and then backed that up with a couple of road wins.
They beat the Lions 31-27 in Detroit before heading to Chicago to fend off the Bears in a 35-32 victory.
Miami’s defense did a much better job a week later in a 39-17 win against Cleveland before the bye, and that was backed up by 30-15 success against Houston.
The Dolphins’ run finally came to an end last week though, as the offense turned the ball over four times in a 33-17 loss to San Francisco.
Los Angeles Chargers Form
Los Angeles remain in the playoff race but desperately need to turn around their recent form.
The Chargers have now lost four of their last six games to fall to 6-6 for the season.
This sequence started before the bye when they lost 37-23 at home to Seattle, and although rebounded with a 20-17 victory in Atlanta, they have struggled to find consistency.
LA’s next outing ended in a 22-16 defeat to San Francisco on the road, and a return home did not bring improved fortunes.
The Chargers lost 30-27 to division rivals before heading out on the road to scrape a 25-24 win in Arizona.
They were unable to back that up last weekend though, falling to a 27-20 defeat in Las Vegas.
