The Saints opened the season in impressive fashion as they out-scored the opposition 91-29 over the first two weeks.
They blew out Carolina 47-10 at home before embarrassing Dallas on the road, 44-19, but the wheels came off in spectacular fashion after that as they lost the next seven.
New Orleans steadied the ship in November as they won three times in a four-game spell, but their form soon nose-dived again.
The Saints have sandwiched a 34-0 shutout defeat in Green Bay with home defeats to Washington, 20-19, and Las Vegas, 25-10.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Form
Tampa Bay have won five of their previous six games to reach 9-7 and put themselves within one win of clinching the NFC South crown.
The Buccaneers made a solid start to the season as they won four of their first six games, including an impressive 20-16 victory in Detroit.
They cooled off in late October as they suffered fourth consecutive defeats to fall below .500, but they kick-started their campaign in late November with a 30-7 win at the New York Giants.
Tampa Bay followed that up with wins over Carolina, 26-23 in overtime, Las Vegas, 28-13, and the Los Angeles Chargers, 40-17.
The Buccaneers then bounced back from a surprise 26-24 defeat at Dallas with a 48-14 blowout of Carolina last weekend.

Baker Mayfield and this Tampa Bay offense continue to stack up plenty of points.
