Pittsburgh head to New England looking to rebound from their first defeat of the season, which has left them 1-1.
The Steelers went 10-8 to make the playoffs last season, only to fall at the first hurdle as they lost 28-14 to Baltimore in the Wildcard round.
Consistent quarterback play eluded them all season long, and in an attempt to solve that problem them turned to Aaron Rodgers in the offseason.
Rodgers enjoyed a winning debut as he led Pittsburgh to a 34-32 win over his former team, the New York Jets, on opening weekend.
However, the Steelers were unable to back up that victory in their home opener, as they were beaten 31-17 by Seattle last weekend.
New England Patriots Form
New England will look to make it back-to-back wins at home, having rebounded from a season-opening defeat.
The Patriots went just 4-13 last season, resulting in a head coaching change that saw them bring in former player Mike Vrabel in the offseason.
His first game back with the franchise ended in disappointment though, as they were beaten 20-13 at home by Las Vegas on opening weekend.
New England issued a strong response to that loss however, as they went out on the road last week to beat division rivals Miami 33-27.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye went 19/23 for 230 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards and a score.
Verdict
New England got off the mark last week, but we are not buying into a one-score win over a Miami team in crisis.
Aaron Rodgers can pick apart this bad Patriots pass defense and this Steelers defense is better than it has shown so far, so we are leaning towards Pittsburgh in this one.
