Pittsburgh enter the 2025 season having made some major changes in the wake of last season’s playoff exit.
The Steelers scraped into the postseason despite losing their final four games of the regular season, but their stay in the playoffs was short-lived.
They visited division rivals Baltimore in the Wild Card round and suffered a 28-14 defeat at the hands of the Ravens.
Pittsburgh have responded to that by bringing in some notable talent in the offseason, namely DK Metcalf and Jalen Ramsey.
However, the biggest move saw the Steelers move on from Russell Wilson and sign former Green Bay and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

New York come into the new campaign looking to improve on a disappointing 2024 season that saw them finish 5-12.
With Aaron Rodgers back from injury they had looked to make a run at the playoffs, but instead they endured a miserable year that started with four defeats in their first six games.
They responded to that move by firing head coach Robert Saleh, but that did not lead to an improvement in fortunes as they finished with a 5-12 record.
New York named Saleh’s permanent replacement in the off-season as they hired Detroit defensive co-ordinator Aaron Glenn.
The Jets also made a major change at quarterback, as they moved on from Aaron Rodgers and signed former Chicago and Pittsburgh QB Justin Fields.
Verdict
The overriding feeling is that both of these offenses are going to need some time.
So with a couple of solid defenses on show, we are likely to see a low-scoring game that sees the Jets at least cover the number.
