The Titans looked a good bet to make the playoffs as they won seven times in an eight-game spell between September 25 and November 17.
However, they have not won since the 27-17 success at Green Bay, losing six straight games to surrender top spot in the division.
The slide started with a 20-16 loss at home to Cincinnati, which was then followed by a 35-10 blowout at Philadelphia.
Tennessee then suffered another major setback as they lost 36-22 at home to divisional rivals Jacksonville.
The Titan’s slump then continued as they lost 17-14 at the Los Angeles Chargers before returning home for defeats to Houston (19-14) and Dallas (27-13).

Jacksonville have put their postseason destiny in their own hands by winning five of their six games since the bye week.
Playoff football appeared to be out of the question when the Jaguars lost five straight games to fall to 2-6 by the end of October.
They did stop their losing skid with a 27-20 success against Las Vegas, but immediately returned to losing ways with a 27-17 loss at Kansas City before the bye.
Jacksonville returned to action with a 28-27 win against Baltimore, only to then get blown out 40-14 at Detroit a week later.
The Jaguars have not lost since though, reeling off four consecutive wins, starting with a 46-22 win over Saturday’s opponents, Tennessee.
They backed that up with a 40-34 overtime win against Dallas before heading out on the road to win 19-3 at the New York Jets and 31-3 at Houston.
