Their streak was halted by a 4-0 defeat in Pittsburgh, and they then lost by the same score when they visited Buffalo.
Colorado snapped that losing sequence with a 4-1 home win against St Louis, only to then suffer a 7-0 blowout defeat in Vegas.
The Avalanche rebounded with a 6-3 win at home to New Jersey, but they again failed to build on a win as they lost 4-3 to Seattle and 8-2 to St Louis at home.

Seattle come into this matchup having lost three of their last four games to fall to 5-7-3 for the season.
The Kraken opened with four consecutive defeats and won just twice during their opening nine games.
They steadied the ship a little at the end of October when they won 4-3 in overtime in Tampa, before returning home for a 4-2 victory over Nashville.
Seattle’s winning sequence was then halted by a 6-3 home loss to Calgary and they then travelled to Arizona for a shootout defeat to the Coyotes.
The Kraken then upset Colorado on the road, 4-3, only to then return home and lost 4-1 to Edmonton.
