The Stars split the next two meetings with the Avalanche, winning 6-2 at home and losing 7-4 on the road, before finally wrapping things up with a 4-2 home win in Game 7.

Winnipeg enter this matchup in desperate need of a victory, having dropped the opening game on Wednesday.
The Jets have home advantage for this series with Dallas, but they failed to make the most of it in Game 1 as they were beaten 3-2 by the Stars.

The Jets failed to back up a 5-3 home win as they lost 5-2 on the road, but they did clinch the series in Game 7 as they finally took down the Blues, 4-3 in overtime at home.
Verdict
Dallas have put themselves in a strong position already, but we expect a response from Winnipeg.
The Jets have been a reliable pick at home despite Wednesday’s loss, and only once this season have they dropped back-to-back games on their own ice.
