The Kings went into the All Star break on the back of a couple of road losses, but hit a hot streak when the regular season resumed.
They returned to action with a 6-0 shutout win against Pittsburgh and backed it up with a 5-2 victory against Buffalo.
Los Angeles then won 6-3 at Anaheim before returning home to beat Arizona via a shootout.
The Kings’ streak was brought to a halt this week though, as they were narrowly beaten 2-1 at Minnesota.
New Jersey Devils Form
New Jersey have been in decent form since the All Star break, going 5-3 in their last eight games.
The Devils won their first two games when the season resumed, beating Vancouver 5-4 in overtime before downing Seattle 3-1.
They then sandwiched a 3-2 win in Columbus with a shootout defeat at Minnesota and a 4-2 loss in St Louis.
New Jersey bounced back from that loss to the Blues with a 5-2 victory at Pittsburgh, before seeing off Winnipeg at home.
