Dallas followed up that loss with a 5-4 overtime defeat to Colorado, before falling to a 4-3 loss when they hosted Nashville.
The Stars rebounded in the back-to-back with Minnesota though, winning 4-0 on the road before returning home for a 7-2 victory.
