St Louis head to Pittsburgh on a three-game losing skid that has dropped them to 3-4-1.
The Blues opened the season with a 5-0 defeat at home to Minnesota, but rebounded on the road with a 4-2 win over Calgary and a 5-2 success in Vancouver.
They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 8-3 at home to Chicago, only to rebound with a 3-1 victory over Dallas a couple of days later.
St Louis have not won since though, starting a three-game skid with a 2-1 overtime defeat when they hosted Los Angeles.
The Blues then fell 7-4 to Utah, before heading to Detroit for a 6-4 defeat to the Red Wings at the weekend.

Pittsburgh enter this matchup on the back of a loss, but having won four of their last five to improve their record to 6-2-1.
The Penguins opened up the new season with a 3-0 victory at the New York Rangers, and backed that up with a 4-3 success at home to the New York Islanders.
They lost the rematch with the Rangers at home, 6-1, and then fell to a 4-3 defeat when they visited Anaheim.
Pittsburgh got back on track with a 4-2 win in Los Angeles, and backed that up with a 3-0 shutout of San Jose on the road and a 5-1 win over Vancouver at home.
The Penguins then knocked off defending champions Florida on the road, 5-3, only to see their win streak end with a 5-4 shootout loss to Columbus.
Verdict
Pittsburgh are the team in better form heading into this matchup, and they are firing offensively.
That could spell trouble for a St Louis group that has given up 13 goals across their last two games.
