Toronto go into Game 2 looking to end a five-game losing skid and level up the series before heading home.
The Maple Leafs posted a 46-26-10 regular-season record, and have not won a game since the 5-2 victory in New Jersey back on April 9.
They lost the next meeting with the Devils, 6-5 at home, and that proved to be the start of this five-game skid.
Toronto then suffered a 5-4 overtime defeat at home to Detroit, before heading out on the road to lose 5-2 at Florida and 6-4 in Tampa.
The Maple Leafs' skid then reached five games in their playoff opener, as they were beaten 5-1 in Boston over the weekend.
Boston Bruins Form
Boston will be looking to double their series lead before they head to Toronto for the next two games.
The Bruins ended the regular season with a 47-20-15 record, with three of those defeats coming in their final four games.
They saw a four-game win streak come to an end with a 4-1 home defeat to Carolina, and although they bounced back by winning 6-4 in Pittsburgh, they did not win another regular season game.
Boston lost 2-0 when they visited Washington, and then suffered a 3-1 defeat when they headed home to take on Ottawa.
The Bruins got back to winning ways in their opening playoff game though, running out 5-1 winners at home to Toronto on Saturday.
Verdict
Boston swept the regular season series and continued that dominance in Game 1.
Their last three wins have been convincing too, so we are taking the Bruins to double their series lead.
