San Jose Sharks Form
San Jose enter this matchup on the back of a victory, but having made a rough start to the season by lost nine of their first 15 games.
The Sharks endured a miserable run of form as they kicked off the season with six consecutive defeats.
They finally stopped the rot with a 6-5 overtime win at the New York Rangers, and then rebounded from a 3-1 defeat in New Hersey with a 6-5 overtime success in Minnesota.
Consistency continued to elude San Jose as they lost 4-3 to Los Angeles, before they finally strung together wins with a 5-2 victory over New Jersey and a 3-2 overtime success against Colorado.
The Sharks were unable to make it three-in-a-row, losing a shootout to Detroit, but they did respond on Wednesday with a 6-1 blowout of Seattle on the road.

Winnipeg have been the more consistent team and they have been strong on the road so far.
