Nashville SC vs LAFC Previews & Picks - LAFC to make it eight games without defeat in the MLS

Nashville are looking to get their first win in two games after drawing with Toronto FC and losing 2-1 to New York City last time out. 

LAFC have been exceptional this season, and they are they only side yet to taste defeat in either of the two conferences this year. 

The two sides met twice last year, with the away side winning both matches. LAFC won 2-1 when they were travelling in August, while Nashville edged to a 1-0 win in October. 

Nashville have struggled for consistency of late, with a three-game unbeaten run in their opening three making way for three defeats in their next five. 

The home side have been fairly good in front of their own fans, with two wins at home coming alongside one defeat and one draw. This has seen them slip down to sixth in the league, with their inconsistency not aiding their pursuit of New England Revolution at the top.

However, despite only winning one of their last five, Nashville are only six points short of the top. An upturn in their form could very easily see them fly up the table and challenge for the top-places. 

What a season it is proving to be for LAFC, with seven games not resulting in a single defeat. 

Their 3-2 win over LA Galaxy was as pulsating as it was important, with LAFC denying their opponents their first win of the season. This was LAFC's fifth win and second in their last two, and they are now a single point behind St Louis City at the top with a game in hand. 

A win in this one could see LAFC move to the top if the league leaders fail to win, while it will also extend an impressive unbeaten run that could extend to eight games this weekend.
