Arlington have been unable to follow up their 2023 XFL Championship success, winning just two of their nine UFL games so far.
The Renegades opened with a 27-14 defeat at home to back-to-back USFL champions Birmingham, and that proved to be the start of a six-game losing run.
They suffered close defeat at St Louis, 27-14, and at home to the DC Defenders, 29-28, before losing 17-9 in an all-Texas clash with Houston.
Arlington then fell 25-15 at home to San Antonio and 28-27 in Michigan, before finally getting off the mark with a 47-23 success against Memphis.
The Renegades failed to back that up as they then lost 20-15, but they did rebound immediately to upset St Louis 36-22 at home last weekend.
DC Defenders Form
DC have been one of the disappointments in the inaugural UFL season, registering only four wins from their first nine games to miss out on the playoffs.
The Defenders opened with a 27-12 defeat in San Antonio, but responded well with a 23-18 victory over Houston and a 29-28 win in Arlington.
They stalled after that though, suffering a 20-18 defeat in Birmingham before losing 45-12 at home to St Louis.
DC avoided a third straight defeat as they beat San Antonio 18-12, but they quickly returned to losing ways as they were beaten 22-9 by Michigan and 26-21 in St Louis.
The Defenders do enter this game on the back of a victory though, having downed Memphis 36-21 on the road last weekend.
Verdict
Arlington have rallied over the past couple of weeks and just knocked off playoff-bound St Louis.
The offense has been putting up plenty of points during this run, so they are an appealing underdog against a bad DC defense.
