The Brahmas opened up the season at home to Sunday’s opponents, the DC Defenders, and ran out 27-12 winners.
They backed that up a week later as they snatched a 20-19 victory in Memphis, but they were unable to back up that victory a week later, losing 31-24 to St Louis.
San Antonio have not lost since though, winning both of their last two games by 10 points.
The Brahmas bounced back from the defeat to the Battlehawks by beating Michigan 19-9 at home, and they followed that up on the road as they downed Arlington 25-15.
DC Defenders Form
DC go into this game in need of a morale-boosting win after last weekend’s blowout loss left them 2-3.
The Defenders entered the season as a leading contender for the UFL crown, only to drop the season opener in San Antonio, 27-12.
They bounced back a week later to beat Houston 23-18 in their home opener, and they then backed that up with a 29-28 come-from-behind victory in Arlington.
DC failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they passed up a great chance to upset Birmingham in what ended up being a 20-18 defeat.
That became back-to-back defeats for the Defenders last weekend, as they were crushed 45-12 at home by St Louis.
Verdict
San Antonio have been a consistent bunch through the first five weeks of the season.
