Tampa Bay is in its worst form since losing five straight in late June -early July. The Rays have struggled on at the plate over the last seven games, producing a little over 4 runs and striking out nearly 10 times a game. The Rays are hitting under .200 against the Blue Jays and their pitching staff has been battered lately as well.

Toronto is playing its best baseball of the season and the Blue Jays, who have the best offense in the majors, has been raking at the plate over the last two-plus weeks recording an OPS of 1.007.

Berrios, who has pitched better at night, has given up three or fewer runs in six of his eight starts with the Blue Jays. Plus, while Berrios has not faced Tampa Bay this year, he has had a lot of success against several of the current members of the Rays,
