Natasha Jonas is the reigning IBF women’s welterweight champion with a career record of 14-2-1 (9 KOs).
Jonas made her professional debut in June 2017 and went on to win nine of her first 10 fights, earning her a world title fight.
She challenged Terri Harper for the WBC and IBO super-featherweight titles in August 2020 and came up painfully short on the night, going to a draw.
The 39-year-old Liverpudlian then took on Irish superstar Katie Taylor in May 2021, and pushed the WBA, WBC, IBF, IBO and Ring Magazine lightweight champion to the limit in a points defeat.
Jonas has not lost since though, starting a five-fight win streak with a unanimous decision win over Vaida Masiokaite.
She then stopped Chris Namus in the second round to win the vacant WBO super-welterweight title, before adding the WBC belt with a decision win against Patricia Berghult.
Jonas then claimed her third title in the weight class by beating Marie-Eve Dicaire on points to claim the IBF belt in November 2022, before moving into the welterweight division in July of last year.
She made a successful debut at the weight, stopping Kandi Wyatt in the eighth round to win the vacant IBF title.
Mikaela Mayer Form
Mikaela Mayer is a former super-featherweight world champion with a career record of 19-1 (5 KOs).
Mayer made her professional debut in August 2017and went on to win her first 13 fights, earning a world title bout.
She took on Ewa Brodnicka for the vacant WBO super-featherweight title and claimed the crown via unanimous decision.
The 33-year-old American then successfully retained with a points win against Erica Farias, before beating Maiva Hamadouche via decision to add the IBF and Ring Magazine titles.
Mayer successfully defended those three titles with a unanimous decision win over Jennifer Han in April 2022, but that would prove to be her only successful defence.
She suffered a split decision defeat when she met WBC champion Alycia Baumgardner in a unification fight in October 2022.
Mayer bounced back in 2023 though, earning herself this world title fight with points wins against Lucy Wildheart and Silvia Bortot.
