The Lions entered the new season looking to make another run to the playoffs, and they got off to an ideal start.
They entertained Edmonton on opening weekend and enjoyed a winning start as they took down the Elks, 31-14.
However, BC’s scheduled got considerably more difficult over the next two weeks, as they faced Grey Cup regulars Winnipeg in back-to-back games.
The Lions lost 34-20 when they visited the Blue Bombers, and then fell to a 27-14 when the two teams met again at BC Place a week later.
Saskatchewan Roughriders Form
Saskatchewan return home after back-to-back road games, and they will step out onto the field with a perfect record.
The Roughriders made it to the West Final last season, ultimately losing in Winnipeg, and they entered the new campaign with their sights set on another postseason run.
They opened up the 2025 campaign at home and made the most of it as they beat Ottawa 31-26.
Saskatchewan then went out on the road for their next two games, and they were able to build on their opening-day win with a couple more successes.
The Roughriders first won 28-23 in Hamilton, and then improved to 3-0 with a 39-32 victory over defending champions Toronto.
Verdict
Saskatchewan won both home meetings with BC last season, and we expect more of the same here.
