The Elks lost their first seven games a year ago, effectively ending their playoff quest before it even started, and they will be desperate to avoid a similar run this time around.
They opened the 2025 season on the road and suffered a 31-14 defeat at the hands of the BC Lions.
Edmonton had an early bye week after that, giving them extra time to prepare for their home opener, but that did not result in a maiden win.
Instead the Elks fell to 0-2 as they fell to a 38-28 when they entertained the Montreal Alouettes.

Winnipeg go into this matchup boasting a perfect record thanks to back-to-back wins over the past couple of weeks.

Winnipeg are the better team in better form heading into this Thursday night clash.
