Saskatchewan enter the West Division Final on a good run of form, having won five of their previous six games.
The Roughriders finished the regular season with a 9-8-1 record, having blown hot and cold during the campaign.
They won five of their first six, and then went on a seven-game winless run that put their postseason hopes in serious jeopardy.
Saskatchewan sparked a turnaround in late September though, as they won 37-29 in Calgary and backed that up by beating Ottawa 29-16, Edmonton 28-24 and BC 39-8.
The Roughriders dropped the regular season finale to Calgary, 27-12, but they responded immediately to beat the BC Lions in the West Semi-Final, 28-19.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Form
Winnipeg go into the West Division Final as the most in-form team in the CFL, having won nine of their final 10 regular season games.
The Blue Bombers lost their first four games of the season and found themselves at 2-6 heading into August, but a 25-0 shutout win over BC breathed life into the season.
That victory sparked an eight-game win streak that featured two victories over playoff opponents Saskatchewan, 35-33 on the road and 26-21 at home.
Winnipeg’s surge was finally halted by a 14-11 defeat when they hosted Toronto, but they responded immediately.
The Blue Bombers wrapped up the regular season with a 28-27 victory when they visited Montreal for a rematch of last year’s Grey Cup.
Verdict
Winnipeg have been stacking up wins over the past couple of months and they have pretty much dominated Saskatchewan in recent years.
The Blue Bombers also boast a wealth of postseason experience, so we expect the favorites to deliver here.
