A strong line-up of the world's best golfers on the PGA Tour are back at Innisbrook to compete for the Valspar Championship this weekend. Who will win the final leg of the Florida Swing come Sunday?

Taylor Moore returns to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Adam Schenk in 2023

Past and present Major winners who will tee off on Thursday include Brian Harman, Keegan Bradley, Stewart Cink, Lucas Glover, Webb Simpson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Francesco Molinari and Gary Woodland.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Xander Schauffele

Xander Schauffele has been ultra-consistent on the PGA Tour this season, placing T10 at the Sentry, T3 at the American Express, T9 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T54 at the AT&T Pebble Beah Pro-Am, T4 at the Genesis invitational, T25 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and T2 at the Players Championship.

Before that, Schauffele was in solid touch towards the end of last season, finishing T17 at the Open Championship, T24 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T8 at the BMW Championship, 2nd at the Tour Championship and T38 at the ZOZO Championship.

The Olympic gold medalist finished T12 at the Copperheard Course on debut.

Schauffele has claims for the title at Innisbrook after achieving three top-five places this year.

Jordan Spieth

Jordan Spieth started his season in great touch, placing 3rd at the Sentry, T39 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T6 at the WM Phoenix Open, disqualified at the Genesis Invitational, T30 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and MC at the Players Championship last weekend.

Before those performances on the PGA Tour, Spieth has been playing well, finishing T23 at the Open Championship, T6 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T34 at the BMW Championship, 27th at the Tour Championship and 6th at the Hero World Challenge.

The three-time Major winner has an excellent record at Innisbrook, placing T20 in 2014, victory in 2015, T18 in 2016, MC in 2018 and T3 in 2023.

Spieth has a proven track record at this event, giving him the confidence to win his second career Valspar Championship.

Keith Mitchell

Keith Mitchell had a decent start to his year on the PGA Tour, finishing T30 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T9 at the American Express, MC at the Farmers Insurance and T54 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Mitchell has bounced back to form since those performances, placing T17 at the WM Phoenix Open, T19 at the Mexico Open, T9 at the Cognizant Classic and 73rd at the recent Players Championship.

The 32-year-old has made two appearances at Innisbrook, finishing T11 in 2017 and 69th in 2021.

Mitchell has been thereabouts lately and offers excellent value at the Valspar Championship this weekend.

Maverick McNealy

Maverick McNealy did not have the ideal start to his new season on the PGA Tour, with results of T57 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, MC at the American Express, T37 at the Farmers Insurance and T39 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

McNealy has found another gear since those results, placing T6 at the WM Phoenix Open, T13 at the Mexico Open, T41 at the Cognizant Classic and T9 at the Players Championship this past weekend.

The American golfer finished T36 on the 2023 Valspar Championship on debut.

McNealy has shown improvement in recent outings and is the long-shot value bet at Innisbrook this weekend.

Verdict

Schauffele is showing signs he is ready to win another tournament on the PGA Tour.

Spieth will fancy his chances to lift the trophy come Sunday as he loves playing on the Copperhead Course.

Mitchell has been playing well lately and offers an excellent each-way bet at the Valspar Championship.

McNealy has been thereabouts lately and could cause an upset victory in Florida.
