The Braves won the National League East last season, finishing 14 games clear of Philadelphia in the standings.

Philadelphia made it all the way to the National League Championship Series last season, and they are fancied for another deep playoff run in 2024.
The Phillies finished 14 games behind Atlanta in the East last season, but when the two teams then met in the playoffs it was them who progressed.
Having beat Miami 2-0 in the Wild Card Series, they then dumped out the Braves with a 3-1 series victory in the Division Series.
Philadelphia made a flying start to the Championship Series too, winning the first two games, but they dropped four of their next five to see their season end at the hands of Arizona.
The Phillies will now look to go all the way in 2024, and they enter the new season having compiled a 9-15 record in the Spring League.
Verdict
Atlanta are expected to make another deep postseason run and we expect them to get off to the best possible start.
