Cleveland go into the second game of this series looking to knot it up at 1-1 before they return home for the next two meetings.

The Guardians are in New York for the first two games and fell to a 5-2 defeat in the series opener on Monday night.

That defeat ended a run of back-to-back victories that had helped them take down Detroit in the Division Series.

Cleveland drew first blood with a 7-0 shutout win over the Tigers, but then suffered a couple of back-to-back shutout defeats, losing 3-0 each time.

The Guardians rallied though, levelling up the series with a 5-4 victory before booking their place in the American League Championship series with a 7-3 win in the decider.
