New York enter the final game of this road trip looking to rebound from last night's defeat to the Mariners.
The Yankees began May with a 3-0 shutout of Tampa Bay at home, only to then lose the next two meetings with the Rays, 7-5 and 4-3, and the series opener against San Diego, 4-3.
They rallied in that series though, registering 12-3 and 4-3 wins over the Padres to head out on the road in positive form.
New York build on those victories as they visited The Athletics and sandwiched an 11-7 loss with 10-2 and 12 wins.
The Yankees then opened this series with the Mariners in Seattle with an 11-5 victory, only to suffer a 2-1 defeat when the two teams met again last night.

Seattle go into this series frinale looking to build on last night's win, which ended a four-game losing skid.
The Mariners ended April with four consecutive wins, and they began May with back-to-back victories in Texas to take their streak to six games.
However, having won the first two meetings 13-1 and 2-1, they missed out on the series sweep as they lost the final clash with the Rangers, 8-1.
Seattle then lost 7-6 at the Athletics, before rallying to take the next two meetings, 5-3 and 6-5.
The Mariners lost the next four as they have returned home to fall 6-3, 6-3 and 9-1 to Toronto, and 11-5 to the Yankees, but they rallied on Tuesday with a 2-1 success against New York.
Verdict
Seattle stopped the rot last night and we are backing them to follow up that victory with another.
Luis Castillo gives them a sizeable advantage in the battle of starting pitchers, and he can be the difference in the final game of this series.
