Los Angeles’ strong run included a four-game win streak that closed out the regular season, which saw them beat Arizona 5-4 before sweeping Seattle with 3-2, 5-3 and 6-1 wins.
The Dodgers then took that win streak to six games in the Wild Card round, as they made straightforward work of the Reds thanks to 10-5 and 8-4 victories.
That red-hot run now stands at eight games following 4-3 and 5-3 victories over the Phillies in Philadelphia.
