Seattle head back out on the road having restored their AL Championship Series lead with that home win in Game 5.
The Mariners made a dream start to this showdown with the Blue Jays, reeling off 3-1 and 10-3 wins in Toronto to return home with a 2-game cushing.
They failed to take advantage of that though, as they surrendered their lead with 13-4 and 8-2 defeats, but they rallied on Friday night and edged back in front thanks to a 6-2 victory.
Seattle booked their place in the playoffs by putting together a 90-72 record to finish top of the AL West, sealing a first-round bye.
The Mariners took on Detroit in the Division Series and had to rally from suffering a 3-2 home defeat in the series opener.
They responded with a 3-2 home win and an 8-4 road win, and then bounced back from a 9-3 defeat in Detroit with a series-sealing 3-2 victory at home.

Toronto know they must win this Game 5 showdown with Seattle or their World Series dream will be over.
The Blue Jays dug themselves into a massive hole in the early stages of this series, losing 3-1 and 10-3 at home, but they rallied on the road in Seattle.
They beat the Mariners 13-4 and 8-2 at T-Mobile Park to level the series, only to hand the lead back to their hosts on Saturday night with a 6-2 defeat.
Toronto reached the playoffs by compiling a 94-68 record to finish top of the AL East standings, winning the head to head with the New York Yankees.
The Blue Jays then left no doubt as to who the better team is, as they erupted offensively at home to beat New York 10-1 and 13-7 in the first two games of the Division series.
They missed out on the series sweep as they lost 9-6 in New York in Game 3, but they bounced back immediately to clinch with a 5-2 victory at Yankee Stadium.
Verdict
Seattle restored their lead on Friday night, and we are backing them to complete the job on the road.
Logan Gilbert is not coming into this game on the back of a marathon matchup the night before, while opposite number Trey Yesavage could again struggle against the Mariners bats.
