Cleveland are tipped to rebound from last night’s loss to Detroit.
Despite the defeat the Guardians have been on a roll in recent weeks, and unlike Texas they have plenty to play for as they are locked in a battle with the Tigers for the AL Central crown.

Texas enter their final series of the regular season on a miserable run of form, having lost nine of their last 10 games.
The Rangers kept their postseason ambitions alive in the first part of September as they embarked on a six-game win streak, but they were unable to maintain that momentum.
They ended the series with the Mets in New York by losing 5-2, and that proved to be the start of an eight-game streak that ended their season.
Texas were swept in Houston, losing 6-3, 6-5 and 5-2, before returning home to be swept by Miami with 6-4, 4-3 and 4-2 defeats.
The Rangers’ skid reached eight games with a 4-1 loss to Minnesota, and although they finally snapped the skid with a 4-2 win over the Twins, they quickly returned to losing ways and dropped the finale, 4-0.
Cleveland Guardians Form
Cleveland come into this series on the back of a loss, but in great form having won 17 of their last 20 games to pull level with Detroit in the AL Central.
That means the Guardians must win more games than they Tigers over the next three days to claim the division crown.
They go into their final series on a great run of form that includes a 10-game win streak between September 11 and September 20.
Cleveland’s red-hot run was finally ended by a 6-2 defeat in Minnesota last Sunday, but they responded in the huge series with Detroit.
The Guardians claimed the AL Central lead with 5-2 and 5-1 wins over the Tigers, but they were unable to complete the sweep, losing the finale 4-2 to join Detroit on 86-73.
Verdict
Cleveland have form on their side and something to play for heading into this matchup.
