The Mariners were outstanding in Toronto, shrugging off the marathon Game 5 showdown with Detroit, and now they are back home where they have been in excellent form in recent weeks.

Toronto head out on the road in desperate need of a victory. having opened the AL Championship Series with back-to-back home defeats.
The Blue Jays came into the series with home advantage, but must now win one of the next two games in Seattle following 3-1 and 10-3 losses at home.
The Blue Jays reached the playoffs by compiling a 94-68 record to finish top of the AL East standings, winning the head to head with the New York Yankees.
Toronto then left no doubt as to who the better team is, as they erupted offensively at home to beat New York 10-1 and 13-7 in the first two games of the Division series.
The Blue Jays missed out on the series sweep as they lost 9-6 in New York in Game 3, but they bounced back immediately to clinch with a 5-2 victory at Yankee Stadium.
Seattle Mariners Form
Seattle return home in an outstanding position, having won back-to-back road games to take firm control of the AL Championship Series.
The Mariners opened the series with a 3-1 victory in Toronto, and then backed that up with a terrific offensive display to win the second meeting 10-3 and give themselves a chance to clinch at home.
They booked their place in the playoffs by putting together a 90-72 record to finish top of the AL West, sealing a first-round bye.
Seattle took on Detroit in the Division Series and had to rally from suffering a 3-2 home defeat in the series opener.
The Mariners responded with a 3-2 home win and an 8-4 road win, and then bounced back from a 9-3 defeat in Detroit with a series-sealing 3-2 victory at home.
Verdict
Seattle return home in a tremendous position, and we expect them to build on that in Game 3.
Aside from a bunch of 'dead rubber' losses, they have been in excellent form at home for several weeks, while Toronto have stacked up several losses on their travels.
