Jared Cannonier is the #7 ranked middleweight contender with a professional record of 17-8 (10 KOs, 2 Subs).
Cannonier debuted in the UFC a decade ago and has fought a who’s who of men at both light-heavyweight and now middleweight.
He forced his way into the world title picture in 2022 as he followed up a decision victory over Kelvin Gastelum with a second-round knockout of Derek Brunson.

Cannonier rebounded in his next outing with a split decision win over Sean Strickland, who went on to become champion, and he followed it up with a points success against Marvin Vettori.
The 40-year-old American failed to make it three-in-a-row though, and ultimately went 0-2 in 2024 to slip down the middleweight rankings.
He first suffered a fourth-round knockout lost at the fists of Nassourdine Imavov, and then lost a unanimous decision to Caio Borralho.

Gregory Rodrigues is an unranked middleweight fighter with a professional record of 16-5 (10 KOs, 3 Subs).
Rodrigues arrived in the UFC in 2021 and enjoyed a successful debut year as he beat Dusko Todorovic on points and Park Jun-Yong via second-round knockout.
He failed to make it three-in-a-row as he dropped a split decision to Armen Petrosyan, but he rebounded to win his next two fights.
The 32-year-old Brazilian knocked out Julian Marquez in 198 seconds, and then backed that up with a second-round knockout of Chidi Njokuani.
Rodrigues again failed to win three consecutive UFC fights, suffering a first-round knockout loss to Brunno Ferreira, but he has not lost since that January 2023 outing.
‘Robocop’ bounced back with a 103 second knockout of Denis Tiuliulin, and followed that up with victories in both of his 2024 outings.
He first took out Brad Tavares in 55 seconds, before earning a decision win over Christian Leroy Duncan.
