De Jong Looks to Repeat Bastad Run
Jesper de Jong is coming off a second-round exit at Wimbledon, where he upset Rinky Hijikata in the opening round before losing to Joao Fonseca in straight sets.
The 26-year-old reached the fourth round at Roland Garros, the best Grand Slam result of his career, and followed it by winning the Cattolica Challenger title. Those results lifted him close to his previous career-high ranking of No. 71 after a slow start to the season.
This is his second appearance in Bastad. On his debut last year, he reached the final, his maiden ATP Tour final, and he returns looking to defend those ranking points.

Lithuanian Looks to Reverse Recent Form
Vilius Gaubas has struggled for consistency in recent months, with nine of his last 12 tournaments ending either in the qualifying stages or the opening round.
