The main event sees Aljamain Sterling defend his UFC bantamweight title against former two-weight champion Henry Cejudo.

Sterling’s reign has been one of the strangest in UFC history. He won the title via disqualification after being hit with an illegal knee by Petr Yan, and in the rematch he scraped a victory by the skin of his teeth, winning via split decision.

‘The Funk Master’ then successfully retained the belt in October of last year, but his second-round finish of TJ Dillashaw turned into a disappointing affair when the former champion dislocated his shoulder early in the fight and struggled to defend himself.

Sterling now faces the biggest challenge of his career so far, but also has the opportunity to prove he is no fluke champion, with Henry Cejudo the next man to share the Octagon with him.

Cejudo established himself as one of the best lighter weight fighters on the planet between August 2018 and May 2020. He was the man to finally end Demetrious Johnson’s dominance of the flyweight division, and then then moved up to bantamweight to win the title in emphatic fashion, knocking out Marlon Moraes in the third round.

‘The Messenger’ successfully defended the bantamweight crown when he knocked out ex-champion Dominick Cruz in the second round, but a few weeks later he was stripped of the title after announcing his retirement.

Cejudo has not stepped foot inside the Octagon for three years, but can he complete a sensational comeback by immediately returning to the top of the bantamweight ladder? Or will Sterling register the biggest win of his career so far to remain the king of the 135lb division?
