Indiana head back to Cleveland with an opportunity to wrap up the series after bouncing back from the blowout defeat in Game 3.
The Pacers took control of the series on the road, as they knocked off the Cavaliers in back-to-back games, 121-112 and 120-119.
They failed to make it three-in-a-row in their home opener, losing 126-104, but they hit back strongly on Sunday as they ran out 129-109 winners.
Indiana booked their place in the playoffs by going 50-32 during the regular season, and they advanced from the first round of the postseason with a 4-1 win over Milwaukee.
The Pacers registered 117-98 and 123-115 wins at home, and then responded to a 117-101 loss on the road with 129-103 and 119-118 (overtime) victories to wrap up that series.
Cleveland Cavaliers Form
Cleveland return home looking to stay alive in the playoffs, knowing one more defeat will bring an end to their season.
The Cavaliers came into this series with home advantage, but surrendered it with back-to-back defeats to Indiana, losing 112 and 120-119.
They hit back on the third meeting 126-104 in Indiana, only to then go two games down again when they were beaten 129-109 by the Pacers.
If Cleveland do bow out it will be a disappointing end to a season that saw them finish top of the Eastern Conference standings with a 64-18 record.
Then then swept Miami in the first round of the postseason, winning 121-100 and 121-112 at home, and 124-87 and 138-83 on the road.
Verdict
Indiana’s response to Game 3 was a spectacular one, and may have just broken Cleveland’s will.
The Pacers are in good form and have a great recent record against the Cavaliers, so we are all over them and the free points in Game 5.
