They won the second meeting in Denver, 105-102, before returning home to take the series lead with a 117-83 win.
LA failed to keep that good run going as they lost 101-99 at home and 131-115 on the road, but they did fend off elimination with a 111-105 win over the Nuggets at home.
The Clippers claimed a place in the playoffs by putting together a 50-32 record to finish fifth in the Western Conference.

Denver return home with another chance to wrap up this series, having passed up the opportunity on Thursday.
The Nuggets enjoyed a winning start to this series as they beat LA 112-110 in overtime at home, but they failed to back that up.

Denver backed that up at home with a 131-115 victory, but they failed to close it out on the road on Thursday as they lost 111-105 to set up this winner-takes-all showdown.
The Nuggets earned their spot in the postseason by putting together a 50-32 regular season record to finish fourth in the Western Conference standings.
Verdict
As expected this series is going right down to the wire, and we are leaning towards Denver.
The Nuggets have history and home advantage on their side, while there is a danger that LA could be weary after putting everything into a Game 6 that saw James Harden play 47 of the 48 minutes.
