Boston are backed to avenge Monday’s shock loss to the Knicks.
The series-opener was most likely a ‘bad night at the office’ for the Celtics, who will have now shaken off any rust they may have picked up from a week of inactivity before Game 1.

The Knicks rallied from a large deficit to beat the Celtics 108-105 in overtime, continuing their flawless road form in the playoffs so far.
They secured their place in the postseason by going 51-31 to finish third in the Eastern Conference, and made a winning start in the playoffs as they beat Detroit 123-112.
New York then lost their second home outing, 100-94, only to rebound in superb fashion by heading out on the road to beat the Pistons 118-116 and 94-93.
The Knicks failed to clinch at home, losing 106-103, but they took their second opportunity as they went back to the ‘Motor City’ to down Detroit 116-113.
Boston Celtics Form
Boston go into this game in desperate need of a victory, having lost their opening home game of the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
The Celtics blew a big lead as they were beaten 108-105 in overtime by New York, and they will be keen to level up this series before heading to the ‘Big Apple’ for Games 3 and 4.
They secured another trip to the postseason by going 61-21 to finish second in the conference, and they made light work of Orlando in the first round.
Boston blew out the Magic in Game 1, winning 103-86, and then followed that up with a 109-100 victory in the second meeting.
The Celtics failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 95-93 in Orlando, but they responded in emphatic fashion to clinch the series, winning 107-98 on the road and 120-89 at home.
Verdict
Boston cannot afford to head to New York trailing by two games, and we do not expect that to happen.
Despite the Game 1 collapse, the Celtics have routinely beat the Knicks at the TD Garden in recent times, so we expect a response from the defending champions on Wednesday.
