The Knicks, who finished second in the Eastern Conference with a 50-32 record, entered the postseason on a good run of form.
They won their final five games of the regular season, wrapping up that part of the season with a 120-119 overtime win over Chicago.
New York took their win streak to six straight games in their playoff opener as they ran out 111-104 winners over Philadelphia.
The Knicks then doubled their series lead in a dramatic Game 2 that saw them snatch a 104-101 victory over the 76ers in a wild finish.

Philadelphia return home in desperate need of a victory after dropping the first two games of the series in New York.
The 76ers had to earn their place in the postseason via the Play-In Tournament, after feeling the effects of Joel Embiid's lengthy absence.
Embiid did return before the end of the regular season though, and he led them on an eight-game win streak to finish 47-35 and earn a second chance at the playoffs.

However, the 76ers' streak has been brought to a shuddering halt by the Knicks, and they now find themselves 2-0 down in the series following 111-104 and 104-101 defeats.

Philadelphia will like their chances back at home, but recent trends have us siding with New York.
