Louisville are tipped to cover as they claim the Boca Raton Bowl.
The Cardinals’ conference quest fell apart down the stretch, but the offense erupted once again in their regular season finale and can hang enough points on a solid Rockets defense.

Louisville’s late season collapse cost them a place in the ACC Championship and forced them to settle for an 8-4 record.
The Cardinals kicked off the season with three non-conference wins, before opening their ACC campaign with a 34-27 win at Pitt.
They failed to build on that a week later as they lost 30-27 to Virginia, but they rebounded in sensational fashion as they went out on the road to upset a number two ranked Miami team, 24-21.
Louisville backed that up by beat8ing Boston College 38-24 and Virginia Tech 28-16, but their season fell apart after that as they lost 29-26 to Cal, 20-19 to Clemson and 38-6 at SMU.
The Cardinals did at least finish the regular season on a positive note, shutting out Kentucky in a 41-0 victory.
Toledo Form
Toledo wrapped up the regular season with a four-game win streak that propelled them to an 8-4 record.
The Rockets rebounded from an opening day loss to Kentucky with a couple of non-conference wins, but struggled for consistency early in their MAC schedule.
They rebounded from a 14-13 loss at Western Michigan with a 45-3 demolition of Akron, and then responded to a 29-23 loss at Bowling Green with a 45-10 victory over Kent State.
Toledo again failed to follow up a win, this time losing a non-conference game, but when they returned to MAC duty they did not taste another defeat.
The Rockets reeled of four consecutive wins to close out the regular season, beating Northern Illinois 42-3, Miami Ohio 24-3, Ball State 38-9 and Central Michigan 21-3.
Verdict
Toledo are the team in better form, but they have lost their head coach and defensive co-ordinator.
That spell’s trouble against Jeff Brohm’s offense, so we expect Louisville to win this game and cover the spread.
