The Buckeyes opened with three convincing non-conference wins, before downing Big Ten rivals Michigan State, 38-7, and Iowa, 35-7.
Their perfect start was ended by a 32-31 defeat at Oregon, but they rebounded immediately to beat Nebraska 21-17, before downing top-five rival Penn State on the road, 20-13.
Ohio State then shut out Purdue in a 4-5-0 victory before heading to Illinois to take down Northwestern, 31-7.
The Buckeyes’ winning run reached five games last weekend as they beat Indiana 38-15 in a matchup that had both Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoffs implications.
