Oklahoma State go into their final game of the season looking to snap an eight-game losing skid.

The Cowboys opened the season with three non-conference victories, but have failed in eight attempts to win a Big 12 matchup.

That part of the schedule started tough as they came up against three ranked teams in the space of four weeks, with all but the 22-19 loss to Utah being a blowout.

In fact, that three-point defeat to the Utes is the closes that Oklahoma State have come to registering their fourth victory.

The Cowboys did lose by one score last weekend, as they lost a shootout with Texas Tech at home, 56-48.

Colorado enter this matchup in need of a victory after last week’s loss to Kansas put a dent in their Big 12 Championship aspirations.

The Buffaloes went into their conference schedule with a 2-1 record and picked up victories in their first two Big 12 outings, beating Baylor 38-31 and UCF 48-21.

They then rebounded from a 31-28 loss to Kansas State with a four-game win streak that propelled them into the top 25.

Colorado won 34-7 at Arizona, downed Cincinnati 34-23 at home, won 41-27 at Texas tech and then saw off Utah, 49-24 at home.

The Buffaloes were unable to make it five wins in a row however, as they lost 37-21 at Kansas last time out.

Colorado desperately need this and the timing is great, because this Oklahoma State defense has been getting gashed this season.

The Buffaloes are capable of running up the score as they win the game and cover the number.
